Nexus Talent Connect is in search of a Driven Attorney Embarking on a New Career Path in the Field of Law! 

Nexus Talent Connect is currently seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney to join the team. The ideal candidate will possess 0-3 years of legal experience, with a strong background in handling depositions, pretrial motions, and litigation matters from inception to settlement or verdict. We also welcome applications from junior litigation attorneys who are hungry to excel in their law career. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse caseload from start to finish, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Handle all aspects of discovery, including conducting and defending depositions, drafting and responding to discovery requests, and managing document review.
• Participate in pretrial and trial proceedings, including drafting pretrial motions, motions in limine, and trial briefs.
• Assist in settlement negotiations and mediations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners to develop case strategies and trial preparation.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar.
• 0-3 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on civil litigation preferred.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience drafting various pleadings and complex motions, such as class certification motions, class-action settlement agreements, and preliminary/final approval motions, is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, opposing counsel, and members of the judiciary.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
